  If you are a nabe newbie, this is the place to try it. Ask the waiter for recommendations or help, they're usually very very accommodating. There is an order to how you're supposed to cook the food so that you don't kill yourself or others, so ask them. Drinks are not refillable, so make sure that you get lots of water. Pick your broth first, and if you're eating with others, try to get different kinds of broth. Lunch specials are great. They offer a kobe or wagyu beef option, but it's not worth it, and this isn't the place to get that kind of thing anyway. Go with one of the sets. A very large Japanese burner is on your table, so if you have little ones, make sure to ask for something larger for seating.

  Reservations recommended for dinner. Lunch is usually walk in, but try to get there early. Those lunch specials mean the joint fills up fast!

  Great soup base, nice stop on a Friday if you make reservations a day early. Always busy on weekends so hard to walk in. Overstaffed to the point of being distracting, which is a good problem to have. Drink refills aren't free so keep that in mind out of the gate. We show up with big appetites and have to spring for extra plates of meat, the set just doesn't have enough. But worth it.
